39g High-Speed Fall x Heavy-Gauge KS No.10 Hook
Sink fast into the deep, and land the monster for sure
Rip current, strong wind, harsh conditions, still reach the bottom in an instant.
Win the power fight against a monster-class squid.
A 39g high-speed fall x a tough, heavy-gauge stainless KS No.10 hook
That is the Daybreak No.4.0.
The oversized No.10 hook never bent, and hooked up every time.
This is truly reassuring strength, even against a monster.
10m, 20m, 30m deep... A rip current rages, strong wind kicks up the waves.
Under harsh conditions, you drift with the tide, your posture collapses, and you miss the chance.
That is why it has a 39g high-speed fall.
Reach the bottom in an instant, and tempt the monster with the ideal posture.
That is the Daybreak No.4.0.
Reach the bottom in an instant. Your posture won't collapse even in a rip current or strong wind. Search the spot efficiently. Even at 30m deep, it reaches the bottom in just a few dozen seconds.
Even a red monster over 4kg won't bend the hook. It hooks up for sure and lands the catch for sure. That is the strength of the KS No.10 hook.
Strong yet lightweight. The underwater posture won't collapse even during a high-speed fall. A meticulously calculated body design. The specific gravity and fluid characteristics are optimized through hard-foam urethane resin molding technology.
The Daybreak No.4.0 is designed so that head sinkers (mask sinkers) from various makers can be attached.
When 39g is not heavy enough, or when you attack even deeper water, you can add weight by attaching a head sinker.
A head shape that makes it easy to secure the band prevents slippage on bottom contact and during jerking.

"I finally got it to grab, and then the hook bent out..."
I never want that heartbreaking experience again.

"A 4.5kg red monster.
The hook never bent, and I landed it for sure.
This confidence is something you can't get with any other egi."
— S.H., Okinawa
Its greatest feature is that it is equipped with an oversized No.10 hook. It has the strength to hook up for sure without the hook bending, even against a red monster over 4kg.
Five functions were prioritized: (1) mounting an oversized No.10 hook, (2) achieving an ultra-high free fall speed, (3) a superb tension-fall balance, (4) a visually beautiful form, and (5) ease of mass production.

Buy at the Online ShopThe No.4.0 DAYBREAK® is an egi that, for the first time in a long while, gave us a real sense of response and breakthrough.
While advancing the development of the No.4.0 DAYBREAK®, something struck us anew as egi developers. It is that "the most important thing in egi development is grasping the body performance (specific gravity and fluid characteristics)." In early April 2024, the fifth Daybreak body prototype was completed. The functions required in development were: "(1) mount an oversized No.10 hook," "(2) achieve an ultra-high free fall speed," "(3) a superb tension-fall balance," "(4) a visually beautiful form," and "(5) ease of mass production."
Over the 25 years since our founding, we have developed countless No.4.0-size egi fitted with an oversized No.10 hook, but with this No.4.0 Daybreak, we felt a certain chemistry the moment we first checked it after the body was completed, the first such egi in a long time. After a long development period, we were ultimately able to satisfy every function this project demanded.
